How to build minimal-image foe linux 2.6.22 instead of 2.6.25

Hi,
    I am building a minimal-image using open embedded for omap 2430 board,i have built the whole thing for 2.6.25 kernel but by using the obtained uImage and rootfs i can't able to boot my board,so i need to build the minimal-image for 2.6.22 which can work with my board,please help me doing so.
